By default, all accounts are enabled with 'brute-force' protection, preventing brute attacks to your site / account.

Some scripts and systems however may trigger some false positives, causing temporary IP address blocks. If this is the case for your site, you are able to disable the brute force protection via the 'CloudNS' plugin within cPanel...

  1. Login to cPanel
  2. Go to 'CloudNS'
  3. Select the relevant domain name, and click 'Configure'
  4. From here, you should see something similar to the following...

  5. To disable the 'Brute Mitigate' option, select 'Proxy', then hit 'Submit'
  6. Now select 'Proxy to httpd' from the dropdown list
  7. Save the changes

After a few minutes, the Brute Force mitigation will be disabled for your account
