How to migrate your cPanel account via the Migration Center

We are proud to introduce the release of our purpose-built Migration Center, which allows you to migrate your website(s) from your old hosting provider.

Start new Migration

Migrating your hosting account, or reseller account from your old hosting provider is incredibly simple and can be done in just a few minutes. To be able to migrate an account from a remote hosting provider, you would first need to purchase a hosting account from our main website (https://brixly.uk) - once you have an active hosting account, you can continue with the following steps... Login to our Client Area -> Migrations

Migrate a single cPanel Account

  1. cPanel -> Migrations -> Start Migration
  2. From here, select 'cPanel'
  3. Select the 'Destination' (where you would like to migrate the cPanel account 'to')
  4. Enter your previous hosts 'hostname'
  5. Enter the username of your cPanel account
  6. Enter the password of your cPanel account
  7. Press Next

This step will verify that the account details are working correctly. If you see an error message, then try again ensuring the details are correct. Note: If you are sure the correct credentials are being used, but its showing invalid in the Migration Center, please contact us by opening a support ticket. From the next screen, simply select the account you wish to migrate, then click 'Add to Migration Queue' - Thats it! Your site will be queued for migration!

Migrate WHM / cPanel Reseller Hosting

  1. cPanel -> Migrations -> Start Migration
  2. From here, select 'cPanel'
  3. Select the 'Destination' (where you would like to migrate the cPanel account 'to')
  4. Enter your previous hosts 'hostname'
  5. Enter the username of your WHM / Reseller account
  6. Enter the password of your WHM / Reseller account
  7. Press Next

This step will verify that the account details are working correctly. If you see an error message, then try again ensuring the details are correct. Note: If you are sure the correct credentials are being used, but its showing invalid in the Migration Center, please contact us by opening a support ticket. From the next screen, you will be presented with a list of accounts / domains available for transfer. Simply select the accounts you wish to transfer, then click 'Add to Migration Queue' NOTE: The Migration Center can only be used for accounts less than 10GB in size! For accounts larger than this, we would strongly encourage you to ensure that all backups, zips and historical emails have been removed before attempting the transfer. If you have cleared the account as much as possible and can't reduce its size by 10GB, the account will need to be authorised, and manually migrated by the support team.
